TC4000 SMPTE Timecode Reader / Writer è la versione aggiornata del TC2000. TC4000 permette di connettersi al software BEYOND, lasciando che l'hardware sia visto come un dispositivo midi. Ciò offre la massima flessibilità quando si tratta di utilizzare il timecode SMPTE. In quello che viene chiamato "reding more", il TC4000 decodifica il timecode LTC in arrivo e lo trasmette a BEYOND. Lo spettacolo laser verrà quindi fissato al codice temporale in ingresso, quindi se il codice temporale si interrompe, lo spettacolo laser si interrompe. Allo stesso modo, quando inizia il timecode, inizierà lo spettacolo laser. Inoltre, il TC4000 ha la capacità di leggere e scrivere su molti frame rate diversi come 24, 25 e 30, attraverso un timecode lineare.

Some installations require coordination with music and control signals. This is most often done using SMPTE timecode. In reading mode, the TC4000 decodes incoming LTC timecode and passes it to BEYOND software. Playback of your laser show is then locked to the incoming SMPTE timecode. If timecode stops, the laser show stops (alternatively, you can set the show to continue "freewheeling"). Once timecode starts again, the laser show and starts again.
