CARATTERISTICHE

Convertitore formato rack 19” progettato per integrare il video IP SMPTE-2110 nell’attrezzatura broadcast 12G-SDI, esattamente come il Blackmagic 2110 IP Converter 4x12G PWR. Questo standard (SMPTE ST-2110) sviluppato da SMPTE, definisce il trasporto e la sincronizzazione di video, audio e dati ausiliari a 10 bit su reti IP per il broadcast destinate a sostituire SDI (Serial Digital Interface).

In questo caso i convertitori video IP bidirezionali indipendenti da 12G-SDI a SMPTE-2110 sono 8, con moduli SFP per poter utilizzare i moduli Ethernet in fibra ottica a 10 Gb per connessioni su lunghe distanze. Ogni canale dispone di un ingresso 12G-SDI, ma c’è anche un ingresso 12G-SDI per il ritorno del program che trasmette su tutti i canali.

In totale, l’apparecchio ha 9 ingressi SDI (8 video SDI + main PGM input), 8 uscite video SDI + 1 Loop Out SDI Main Program, 16 IN/OUT audio embeddati su SDI. 8 socket SFP da 10 Gb/s supportano fino a 10 G BASE-T per ingresso e uscita video IP SMPTE 2110. Il clock PTP (Precision Time Protocol) per la sincronizzazione precisa tra i dispositivi è incluso.

L’aggiunta di questo convertitore a un sistema broadcast SMPTE‑2110 professionale preesistente offre il grande vantaggio di poter trasformare, a basso costo, tutta l’attrezzatura video in SMPTE-2110: basterà connettere l’apparecchio agli switcher di produzione live, registratori su disco, processori di streaming, camere, TV e altro ancora.
